Lifetime Achievement Award

 

The Award should be given to European Pancreatologists whose sustained and outstanding accomplishments have significantly improved the lives of people with pancreatic diseases and whose contributions, leadership and impact are widely acknowledged by the broader pancreatic community. Furthermore, the EPC Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes outstanding individuals whose pioneering and inventiveness throughout their careers have improved and supported the European Pancreatic Club.
 
The recipient of the award must have had a career spanning at least 30 years and their life-long careers should have had a significant impact on the EPC and the pancreatic community. Only persons who are EPC members can be nominated.
 
Regarding the nomination process, the EPC Secretary will accept nominations from all EPC members until the 1st of June each year in writing (you can download the nomination form below). The final recipient will be selected by the EPC councilThe Lifetime Achievement Award will be announced at the Gala Dinner of the EPC meeting.
